About Dr. Abhay Uppe
Dr. Abhay Uppe is an eminent Pulmonologist practicing successfully for more than 17 years in the field.
He is a Life Member of the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, Indian Academy of Allergy & Applied Immunology, Indian Chest Society, and Indian Association of Bronchology.
He pursued his MBBS from the University of Mumbai in 1996, TDD from the University of Mumbai in 2001, and also went on to accomplish MD - Chest Medicine from the University of Mumbai in 2002.
He also has done his Fellowship in Pulmonology by the American College of Chest Physician in 2009.
Along with writing for several publications and journals, he has also presented numerous abstracts of his research at national & international conferences.
Dr. Uppe's area of specialization covers anaerobic lung disease, Allergy and Immunotherapy, Farmer lung disease, and different rare fungal diseases.
