No. TheraRoute is a medical facilitation company, not a healthcare provider. All diagnosis and treatment is delivered by independent, accredited hospitals and consultants, and every clinical decision rests with the treating consultant. What we do is comparison, coordination and advocacy.

Yes, and we encourage it. You can ask for another hospital or a second consultant on any case at any point. Nothing is binding until you choose to proceed — and we will tell you honestly when the right answer is to be treated closer to home.

Not at accredited centres. The lower price mainly reflects lower staff and overhead costs, not a compromise on implants, imaging or surgical standards. We list only JCI- or NABH-accredited hospitals, many with surgeons who trained or practised abroad.

Our service is free to you. Hospitals in the network pay us a facilitation fee for the cases we bring and the coordination we handle. You are never charged more than the hospital's own price, and you pay the hospital directly on its own invoice. More on how we are paid.

At accredited hospitals, yes. We list only JCI- or NABH-accredited centres, held to recognised international and national standards. Outcomes still depend on the specific condition and the centre's experience with it, which is why we show high-volume centres and compare them on your own records rather than ranking hospitals.

By accreditation and by verified experience in the specific procedure — not by who pays us most. Where a treatment depends heavily on volume, such as transplant or cochlear implants, we say so and point you to the centres that do it often.

Most nationalities can apply for an e-Medical Visa online; some must apply at an Indian mission. You will usually need an invitation letter from the treating hospital, which we arrange. Depending on your country and length of stay, FRRO registration may be required after arrival, and up to two attendants are generally permitted. See visa and travel.

Follow-up consultations continue by video, reports are chased on your behalf, and medicines are shipped where regulations allow. For treatments needing ongoing care — transplant immunosuppression, cochlear implant mapping — we help set up follow-up near your home.

Yes. A medical visa generally allows up to two attendants, and we help arrange accommodation near the hospital. Your advocate is in the building to take the logistics off your family so they can spend the time on you.
