Since 1989 worked as Consultant Gastroenterologist in various hospitals in Mumbai namely Jaslok Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, Jagjivanram Western Railway Hospital, Asian Heart Institute, Seven Hills Hospital, Kasturba Hospital, Conwest Jain Clinic Group of Hospitals, Bharatiya Arogya Nidhi Hospital, BCJ General Hospital, Jivan Vikas Kendra Hospital and Hindu Sabha Hospital

• Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Indian Association for Study of Liver Diseases, Society of G.I. Endoscopy of India, Association of Physicians of India, Gastroenterology Research Society, Indian Medical Association and Association of Medical Consultants

• First candidate to have passed DM degree exams in Gastroenterology from Mumbai University in the year 1988

• Best Paper Prize in Annual National Conference of Society of G.I. Endoscopy of India in 2003
