About Dr. Amit Nath Rastogi
Dr Amit Rastogi has keen interest in Living Donor Liver Transplantation (LDLT) and Complex Hepatobiliary
surgeries. He gained extensive experience in Surgical Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation.
He is Director in the Liver transplant team that established the Institute of Liver Transplantation at Medanta, which has become the largest liver transplant centre in India and one of the prominent program in the world. Most of the country’s firsts in the field of liver transplantation are achieved by the Institute.
More than 4000 Liver transplants done by the Team with success rates of more than 92%.
He is a Founder Member of Liver Transplantation Society of India (LTSI) and is elected as its Treasurer for a period of 2 yrs, 2018-20.
