Before starting his career in clinical cardiology and research he was actively involved in patient care in the wards and out-patients department, running Allergy Clinic and Hypertension Clinics of the Cardiology Section at L.L.R.M. Medical College and Hospital. His area of specialization is Multiplane Transesophageal Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, Enhanced External Counterpulsation, Intraoperative TEE in Port Access Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Doppler including Abdominal vascular, Carotid and Peripheral Vascular Doppler, Internal Mammary Artery Duplex Scanning and Heart Failure.
