Dr. Suresh Raghavaiah is GI, HPB and Multi-organ Transplant Surgeon with 17+ years of experience.
His surgical interests include liver transplant, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, surgeries for kidney, liver and pancreatic cancer, bile duct cancer surgery, correction of bile-duct surgeries and more.
He has performed many surgeries, including:
800 kidney transplants
400 liver transplants including Cadaveric and Living Donor Liver transplants
More than 200 liver resections,
150 pancreatic surgeries, and
32 laparoscopic pancreatic necrosectomies.
He has performed the highest number of Pancreas Transplants Surgeries in the State of Karnataka, India.
Dr. Raghavaiah has numerous International presentations and publications to his credit.
He is a member of the Liver Transplant Society of India, IHPBA, Indian Medical Association, Priestly Society of Surgeons, Multidisciplinary Transplant Inpatient Round Committee and American Association of Transplant Surgeons.
He completed MBBS from AIMS, Bellur and MS in General Surgery from St. Johns Medical College Hospital, Bangalore.
He pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive Hepato-biliary surgical at L’Institut Mutualiste Monstsouris, Paris and post-doctoral research fellowship in immunology at Mayo Graduate School, Rochester, USA.
