About Dr. Vikram Raut
Dr. Vikram Raut is a Liver Transplant Surgeon with 10+ years of experience in the field.
He has been the Member of the website committee of ILTS (2013-2015) and also the Member of Vanguard committee of ILTS (2010-2013).
He has extensive experience of Living-donor liver transplantation with cumulative experience of over 1000 liver transplants.
After completing his surgical training at B.Y. L Nair hospital Mumbai, he went to Kyoto University Hospital, Japan for a Fellowship in liver transplantation.
He also has had training in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery from Hospital Beaujon, Paris, France, and Asan Medical Center, Seoul, South Korea.
Dr. Raut has special interest in ABO-Incompatible Liver Transplantation, Small-for-Size Syndrome, Living Donor Liver Transplantation for Hepatocellular carcinoma and Laparoscopic/Robotic Liver Surgery
He has authored and co-authored books and articles in national and international journals.
